2021 continued to deliver challenges as we navigated the pandemic, but we were able to resume some events in person. The non-profit world will continue to offer virtual and in-person as they figure out how to blend offerings to accommodate everyone. Our team continued the trend of community support during a time when non-profits needed it the most. Below is a summary of some of the causes we were able to contribute to because of our client's partnerships, despite the many challenges fundraising posed this year!
2021 Virtual Cambridge Montessori Spring Auction Gala: Cambridge Montessori School was founded in 1963 to foster a love of learning and to educate children to be caring, socially responsible citizens of their community and world. To learn more about the school click here.
Room to Grow supports parents and caregivers as they activate their natural strengths and expand their knowledge, so children thrive from the start. Families in their program develop strategies to promote their children’s development, select baby and toddler items for their children, and connect with other local organizations and community resources that can expand their support network.
National Braille Press Gala A Million Laughs for Literacy 2021 Event Featuring Ryan Hamilton: This event is always inspiring, well run, and offers amazing silent and LIVE auction items that are often exclusive to this event. This year was no exception even with transitioning back from 100% virtual to blended in-person and virtual. Tom Sullivan, founder of Lumber Liquidators, introduced me to this event 17 years ago, and I haven't missed one since. This year we focused on the face of braille, and how those that are readers impact the world in a positive way. NBP continues to support impaired readers around the globe, including the creation of braille tactiles and educational materials. For more information, and to support NBP click here. Special shout out to the Prime Building and Development team for their attendance and generosity this year! We were able to raise over $150,000 the night of.
Cambridge Montessori School: Our daughter Mabel enjoyed 3 years, and Ruby's 4th year at the school continues to be a success. Ivy is going to attend beginning in Fall 2022. We are happy to be part of such a diverse and passionate community of parents and teachers. To learn more about the Montessori journey, or to support this school directly CLICK HERE.
We also supported various local organizations including Pann Mass Challenge, Greens Farms Elementary, Medford Dance Haven Scholarship fund, Girls Scouts Troop in NY, Boys & Girls Club of America, National Alzheimer's Association, JDRF in support of our friends NYC marathon journey, Team World Vision in support of our friends Ironman journey, Local Police officers, and Fire Departments of Newton and Medford MA and more...
These were some of the highlights of our charitable partnerships this year. It was great to support causes we are passionate about, but also causes that our clients and friends are passionate about. "Individually we are one drop, but together we are an ocean." I can't wait to see what 2022 brings, hopefully, more chances to connect in-person to support the communities we serve!
